Satoru Aonuma

現在のもっぱらの興味は、リベアルアーツ（liberal arts）としてのコミュニケーション（学・論）です。コミュニケーションは（私たちのような）自由人がより自由そして幸せになるための道具であると共に、自由人が社会的責任を全うするために必要な術、社会に蔓延る不正義や不自由に苦しんでいる、私たち以外の人々と共に戦う武器であると考えています。

My current scholarly interest has been in communication as/and liberal arts. For us already liberated, communication is not only a skill to become freer, richer, happier, etc. ourselves; it is also a tool with which we can work for/with those less free, fortunate, or blessed. I understand that communication can become our weapon to fight injustice, oppression, and other wrongdoings by the powers that be.
