Welcome to the new homepage of the Department of Society, Culture and Media at International Christian University (ICU).
Our department consists of faculty and students interested in social and cultural phenomena taking place in local and global contexts. We offer three majors: Anthropology, Sociology, and Media, Communication and Culture.

Anthropological Fieldwork Exhibit 2025
In July 2025, a group of five ICU students traveled to Argentina for training in ethnographic fieldwork methods.
